Simlångsdalen's community has both shops and restaurants. In lake Simlången there is a nice fishing and here you can rent both boat and canoe. Fishing licenses are valid. To Halmstad, which is a lovelysummer town and the sea, it is 18 km. For the shopping enthusiast, it is only 55 km to Europe's largest shopping paradise, Gekås in Ullared.
