Winter sports resorts of Davos and Klosters

The most popular winter sports resorts in this region are Davos and Klosters. Davos is a chic and fashionable winter sports and spa resort. Located at an altitude of 1,560 metres, it is considered Europe's highest city.  Davos is made up of two areas: Davos-Dorf and Davos-Platz (Frauenkirch, Glaris, Monstein and Wiesen all fall under the Municipality of Davos). This small city has much to offer winter sports enthusiasts. The Parsenn/Gotschna ski resort is the largest and most popular of the 6, with slopes for all levels of skiers, nighttime skiing and the longest descent in the region: 12 km (Weissfluhgipel-Küblis). Pischa, Madrisa and Rinerhorn are family-friendly resorts, where young holidaymakers can spend the day at one of the Child's Land facilities. Pischa is also a beloved destination of freeriders and one of the largest freeride areas in Switzerland. Snowboarders and freestylers will have the time of their lives in the fun park and half-pipes of the Jakobshorn. The Schatzalp is perfect for those looking for a quieter destination.
